ScanBee Pro: $12.99 per month in the US App Store; €14.99 per month in Germany. Other countries use regional store prices. Eligible new subscribers receive one month free. Afterwards, the subscription automatically renews at the displayed monthly price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends. The price and offer shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation apply. Pro unlocks all scanning, editing and export features and new cloud uploads. Without an active subscription, viewing, downloading existing files and deleting remain available.
Purchases and billing use your Apple Account. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions or Apple subscriptions. Use “Restore purchases” in ScanBee to restore existing access with the same Apple Account. Cancellation stops renewal; access continues until expiry. Deleting the app or your ScanBee account does not cancel your Apple subscription. An introductory offer is available only once per subscription group; Apple determines eligibility. Creating a ScanBee account alone does not start a subscription. To unlock the web workspace, sign in with the same ScanBee account in the iPhone app and browser. Local use does not require a ScanBee account.
Which devices do I need?
Room scans and freeform 3D scans need a supported iPhone Pro or iPad Pro with LiDAR. Devices without LiDAR can display sample scans; the tape measure is less accurate on these devices. The App Store lists the required iOS or iPadOS version.
How do I change the language?
The iOS app uses your device or app language. German language variants use German; other languages use English. You can change ScanBee’s language in iOS settings and reopen the app. Your own names and notes are not translated. Measurements remain metric.
How do I get a good scan?
Use even lighting and keep doorways clear. Move slowly along walls, roughly 1–3 meters away, capturing corners, floors, doors and windows. Check that important areas are included before saving. Mirrors, glass and moving objects can affect results.
How accurate are measurements?
Accuracy depends on the device, lighting, surfaces and scanning technique. Check critical dimensions with a tape or laser measure before ordering, fabrication or billing. ScanBee is not a certified measuring instrument.
Which formats can I export?
Depending on scan type: GLB, OBJ, PLY and USDZ for 3D models; DXF, CSV, PDF, PNG and SVG in a floor-plan package. A PDF measurement report can contain info points with notes, images and files. Use the iOS share sheet to share exports. Downloads are also available in the web library.
When are scans uploaded?
Scans stay local without sign-in. With an active Pro subscription, after sign-in the app automatically uploads new and changed scans while open in the foreground. Disable this under “Account & scan transfer” to upload individually instead. Local capture photo archives and individual attachments stay on the device. A PDF report already created with those contents is uploaded as an export file when uploads are enabled.
How do I delete local and cloud data?
Local trash is not emptied automatically. Permanently deleting a local scan removes its capture photos and attachments. Delete cloud copies separately in the cloud library, or delete your account in account settings to remove all its cloud files. Uninstalling, signing out or disconnecting Apple sign-in does not delete cloud data. Export files you need first.
Do browser edits sync back to my iPhone?
You can save web edits as a new private copy. They do not automatically change the original scan on your iPhone. Drafts may be lost when the session closes unless you save or download them.
